In grain preservation, precise nitrogen output displaces oxygen in silos, curbing over-reliance on chemical insecticides and fungicides and cutting mold growth and pest infestation by up to 90%—effectively locking in the original quality of grains (like plumpness of cereal grains and germination rate of seeds) and retaining natural nutritional components, while reducing grain loss caused by spoilage, pest damage, and oxidative deterioration. For safer storage, the food-grade inert nitrogen replaces potential harmful chemical preservatives, and its dry, oxygen-free property prevents oxidative rancidity of grains (especially oilseeds) during long-term storage and turnover, avoiding quality degradation such as off-odors, discoloration, or nutrient loss that compromise grain commercial value and edibility.
