Why can't plain oxygen generators be used at high altitudes? It's because the environmental adaptability is different
2025-10-14
In plain areas, the environmental temperature remains stable throughout the year and the temperature difference between day and night is small. Therefore, the design of the oxygen generator components does not need to consider extreme temperature variations. However, in plateau areas, the temperature often drops below -10℃ at night. Hence, the components used in the oxygen generator must be resistant to low temperatures. For example, the lubricating oil in the compressor adopts a special low-temperature model. Even when the temperature drops to -25℃, it can still remain in a flowing state, ensuring the normal startup and operation of the equipment. Additionally, in some remote areas of the plateau, the voltage fluctuation is significant, which can easily burn out the motor. However, the oxygen generator in the plateau comes with a wide-voltage module. It can adapt to voltages ranging from 110V to 240V, fully meeting the complex power supply environment of the plateau.
